During the brief clean up flow period, Jingemia-4 flowed at a rate approximating 3,500 bopd. Recently received laboratory analysis of core data from Jingemia-4 confirm a porous, very high permeability reservoir with a high flow rate capacity, all of which is considered very encouraging for the future productivity of the oil field.
“Origin Energy has delivered an excellent result with Jingemia-4 which has been drilled and completed in a trouble free manner. It is an outcome that provides high confidence levels for the field achieving budgeted oil production rates of 4,000 bopd from July,” said Voyager managing director, John Begg.
The WA Minister for State Development, Clive Brown, recently approved a Production Licence for the Jingemia oil field, allowing full production targeting rates at up to 4,000 bopd after tie-in of the well to the production facilities late June.
Jingemia-4 was the last of the scheduled wells in the field and intersected 29m of oil saturated Dongara Sandstone, with excellent reservoir characteristics.
