ESG seeks formal approval for Coonarah gas field

ESG said it will shortly lodge the 'Coonarah Gas Field Development Application' with the Narrabri Shire Council. Following submission of the application, the proposed development will require the issue of 'Development Consent' from the Shire as well as a Production Lease from the NSW Department of Mineral Resources.

ESG added private landowners - whose properties will be crossed by a proposed pipeline route that extends about 20km from east of Yarrie Lake to West Narrabri - will be next on the list of stakeholders to consult.
