In last weekend's games, the Western Force had a bye, while the Queensland Reds lost 32-20 to the Chiefs in Hamilton, New Zealand.
And in their last home games for this year's Super 14 season, the NSW Waratahs gave the Sharks of Durban, South Africa, a four-tries-to-one hiding to post a 25-10 win, and the ACT Brumbies narrowly defeated the Lions, of Johannesburg, 28-21.
This coming weekend, the Western Force return from a bye week, their finals hopes in tatters but still hoping to give their long-suffering fans a couple of memorable home wins before the end of the season. They will take on the Chiefs this Friday in Perth.
On Saturday, the Queensland Reds play the Auckland Blues in Brisbane.
Meanwhile, the ACT Brumbies and NSW Waratahs have played their last home games and will need strong performances on the road to make the finals.
The Waratahs take on the Bulls in Pretoria, while the Brumbies will play the Stormers in Cape Town.
