Thales rewards Malaysian students

Thales Malaysia has chosen three students from the University of Teknologi Malaysia to share its inaugural Thales GeoSolutions Award.

Chai Beng Chung a final year of a Bachelor of Science of Geoinformatic and Lim Chang Ngiik and Ling Siaw Ming, both final year students studying for a Bachelor of Geomatic Engineering, were chosen for their discipline, quality and consistency in implementing their final year projects.

Thales developed the award as a result of the longstanding relationship between the University and the company. The Malaysian office employs the largest group of field staff within Thales GeoSolutions Asia Pacific region with 75% of its yearly intake of surveyors recruited from graduates of the University.
