This well has three objectives, two in the Morrow and at least one in the higher sands, said managing director Howard McLaughlin.
“These next two wells are part of an ongoing development program on the large contiguous acreage position in Ellis County held by Antares,” McLaughlin said.
“We are very hopeful these wells will extend the accumulations already in production from Ellis-1 and 2.”
Antares has contracted a drilling rig to drill Ellis-3 and Ellis-4 back-to-back, with an option to drill two additional wells.
Antares Energy has a roughly 92% working interest and is operator in this block.
