Tomahawk reaches TD in 10th straight discovery

THE tenth well in Tomahawk Energys Oklahoma drilling program, Snell Heirs 1-17, has reached a tot...

Tomahawk said this was the tenth consecutive well drilled by the company that has encountered significant hydrocarbons shows.

Electric logging had begun to evaluate the significance of the hydrocarbon shows and the results were expected to be released within 7 -10 days, according to Tomahawk.

In related news, the company said flow rates from the first 5 wells in production (Snell Heirs 1-20, Snell Heirs 2-19, Snell Heirs 3-19, Snell Heirs 4-19, Snell Heirs 5-19) continue to increase.

In December Tomahawk said the annualised revenue was running at approximately $1.5m. “This has now increased to an annualized rate of more than $2.25m despite being facilities constrained for much of January and February 2005,” it said.

It pointed out that since increasing its interest in the Snell Heirs project to a 100% working interest, a successful well drilled in 2005 and onwards has twice the economic impact to those drilled last year and which make up all the above annualised revenue.
