The Jane-1 prospect lies approximately 3.4 kilometres north from the Agincourt facility in TL/6.

It is expected to take 5 days to reach total depth and if successful, a horizontal development well will be immediately completed in the reservoir and given that it has been drilled from an existing platform, with first oil expected within two to three weeks, according to a Tap Oil statement.

The Jane-1 well is the second well to be drilled in an intensive drilling campaign of some 20 exploration, appraisal and development wells in the Harriet Joint Venture area during 2005.

Interests are Apache Northwest Pty Ltd (Operator) 68.5%, Tap Oil Limited 12.2229%, Kufpec Australia Pty Ltd 19.2771%.
