Witnesses told EnergyReview.net they believed it was a result of uneven ground and operator error. A Hyundai spokesperson attributed the accident to uneven ground.

The 10,000 tone crawler crane was carrying a 40 tonne module when the mishap occurred, which caused the load to strike a loadout barge involved in the lifting operation.

Hyundai engineers were reported to be working to rectify the situation.
