Sunshine CSM pilot flying ahead

All four wells from Pilot 3 have been connected and are flowing at a combined gas rate of 143,000 cubic feet a day and 1292 barrels of water per day, according to Sunshine.

The Thor rig Invader has moved to install surface equipment at Pilot 4 with Lacerta-14 expected to come onstream within days, the company said.

Meanwhile, Mitchell Rig 123 has spudded the Lacerta 31 core-hole and is at a depth of 160m. This well is assessing the southwestern extent of the Walloon Fairway, an extensive coal seam that is highly productive for CSM.

MHA Petroleum Consultants are progressing the reserve certification statement for Lacerta and will advise Sunshine Gas of their conclusions in the near future.
