The junior company said this morning the primary aim of the flow-test was to clean up drilling and completion fluids from the formation and determine the mechanical integrity of the well completion.
“As such the test will be brief and the maximum rate will be subject to the limitations of the testing facilities,” it said.
AED plans to have completed all well activities at Puffin-8 during the first week of May, before undertaking subsea installation in the second week.
Initial installation activities involve two anchor- handling tugs and the preparatory work for the floating production, storage and offtake mooring installation.
Loading of anchors, chains and other equipment is currently being finalised in Singapore.
