THE Padulla-3 appraisal well in Cooper/Eromanga Basin permit PEL 113 is being cased and suspended as a Murta and Cadna-Owie producer, operator Stuart Petroleum said.
Interpretation of wireline logs has confirmed the presence of oil pay in the Murta formation, as previously advised, in addition to 1m of oil pay in the Cadna-Owie – a new reservoir in this field, the Adelaide-based company said.
The Padulla-3 well, a follow-up to the Murta Formation oil discovery made by Padulla-2 last year, was drilled to a total depth of 1510m.
Stuart holds a 100% interest in PEL 113.
