First oil for Carpathian's Czech field

Czech Government estimates put the field's original recoverable oil reserves at 236,000 bbls with 208,073 bbls remaining recoverable reserves. Carpathian released no production figures.

It has an initial 75% interest in Krasna that will reduce to 50% once their capital costs of bringing the field into production have been recouped.

The company is also raising approximately $1 million to drill their first gas production well at the nearby Janovice gas field, located only five kilometres from the Krasna field.
