Sunshine changes from the top down

Bradley Lingo has now been appointed chief executive officer, having worked on many large Australian and international oil and gas projects over the years, and Amy Anderson has been appointed commercial manager.

It was also announced late last week that two founding directors, John Towner and Jeremy Towner, resigned from the board having played a pivotal role in building the company from its inception. They remain significant shareholders in Sunshine Gas and have left to pursue new opportunities outside of the current mandate of the company.

Sunshine Gas said it has moved to adopt the Corporate Governance framework proposed by the ASX in recent times with the election to the board of two independent non-executive directors and has continued with the recent departure of two executive directors.

These actions have resulted in the board of Sunshine Gas now having equal numbers of executive and non-executive directors including a non-executive chairman.
