The world's largest exporter of LNG said in recent days it was aiming for a 45% lift in production, chiefly from greenfield reserves.

Indonesia's gas production last year totalled 6 trillion cubic feet. The new target figure is 8.7 tcf per year, which it hopes to achieve in 2008.
