The MOU has its foundations in EnviroMission's aim to build a solar tower in New South Wales, from which it plans to produce around 200 Mw of 'green' power.
AGL's deal gives it exclusive access to all the emmission-free power produced from the facility, which will be eligible for renewable energy credits.
A feasibility study with Leighton Contractors is underway with a decision expected in the 3rd quarter this year.
