PNG seismic survey begins

The recording has been preceded by line cutting and shot hole drilling.

Four seismic lines will be acquired over the Wasuma structure, the Bilip structure and an area immediately to the south-west of Bilip.

The information will be used to define a target for potential drilling in the second half of this year.

Participants in PPL190 are Oil Search Ltd 31.278% (operator), Santos 31.278%, Murray Petroleum Company Ltd 26.497% and Cue PNG Oil Company Pty Ltd 10.947%.
