The contract scope includes pre-FEED work on project management, topsides design, and integration of the hull, drilling and riser facilities.
Associated business Wood Group Kenny will take care of the engineering work for the production, injection and drilling top tensioned risers, the import/export flexible and umbilical systems, and subsea drilling template.
"We are very excited to be involved in the Snorre C project," WGM offshore business unit manager Simon Harris said.
"Wood Group Mustang has been involved in the design of half of the TLPs in operation around the world and we will use our knowledge and expertise to challenge the norm for North Sea platforms.
"We are pleased to be continuing our relationship with Statoil and assisting them to deliver a cost-efficient facility."
The Statoil-operated Snorre field, spanning blocks 34-4 and 34-7 in the Tampen area of the Norwegian North Sea, is located at a water depth between 300m and 350m.
The Snorre field reserves were estimated at 1.55 billion barrels of oil as of last year.
The TLC project is part of efforts to extend the life of the field to 2040.
No value was revealed for the pre-FEED contract.
