Sapex completes first part of SA seismic

TERREX Seismic has completed the 236km detail survey portion of the Boorthanna seismic survey in ...

Sapex added the second part of the survey, a regional 2D program aimed at determining the southward extension of the Boorthanna Trough, will start in mid-July.

The interruption will not affect the processing of data from the detail survey over the next 3-4 months that will be used to determine locations for Sapex's two-well drilling program, targeted to start near the end of 2008.

The survey is the region's first such survey since the early 1980s.

Adelaide-based Sapex holds a 100% interest in the under-explored basin, with 65,000 square kilometres under seven granted PELs.
