In addition to his BD role for Australasia, which includes Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, Matthews will also take on the account manager role for Woodside, ChevronTexaco and ConocoPhillips.

Matthews began his career as a trainee with Otis Engineering in 1978. Since then he has held various positions in Halliburton throughout the Asia Pacific region since then, including tools, testing and TCP, operations manager, Indonesia and then sales manager for Indonesia.

For the last five years he has been BD manager for Southeast Asia working out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
