Four firms keen on Reliance LNG tender

Reliance Energys tender for LNG supply for its 3,740 mW Dadri power plant has drawn the interest ...

While it is still unknown which of the four will get the nod, sources close to the action have said, “The US$2.97 per million BTU price offered by Reliance Industries Ltd for gas from Dhirubhai fields to National Thermal Power Corp’s power plants in Gujarat will be the benchmark for Dadri tender.”

Reliance Industries will supply the gas from its Dhirubhai fields. Gail’s supply will come from its Iranian imports. Petronas’ will come from SE Asia and British Gas from its offshore Panna/Mukta and Tapti fields.
