Incremental, Otto achieving in Edirne project

Otto also said the well is expected to be flow tested soon after preliminary wireline logs analyses indicated about 20m of net gas-bearing reservoir sands.

Arpaci-2A is the last well in the joint venture partners' 2008 drilling campaign and was drilled through the same shallow gas sands encountered in Arapci-2, along with two deeper gas-bearing zones. All three zones are located at a depth of between 160-350m.

"The completion of Arpaci-2A will finalise the very successful 2008 drilling campaign, with four gas discoveries from four wells," Incremental said.

"The evaluation of the surface facility design and assessment of bidders for construction is continuing, with planned first gas production by mid 2009," the company added.

The partners in the Edirne Gas project are Incremental Petroleum 55%, Otto Energy 35% and Petraco Energy 10%.
