K2 said the well flowed gas to surface while well pumps were being installed to recover load water in the Woodford shale zone.
Strong bottom hole pressures were also recorded, the company added.
"Tanks have been installed and the gas gathering line has been connected to the gas sales meter in anticipation of gas production being established," K2 said.
"In the coming weeks production rates will be determined after all load water has been recovered."
According to K2, Farrow 1-24 is currently pumping water and has pumped 1800 barrels to date.
Farrow 1-24 was originally drilled in December 2005 by the operator Devon Energy but not completed in the Woodford zone.
K2 said the re-completion of the well is significant as it provides the company with an opportunity to further evaluate the Woodford shale potential at its Bad Creek project area.
"While horizontal wells are now considered more likely to establish commercial production in the Woodford shale, the Snell 2-19 vertical well has produced over 200 million cubic feet of gas per day since 2004, demonstrating the potential of the Woodford shales in the project area," the company said.
K2 has a 7.5% working interest in Farrow 1-24.
