Bluesky success for Drillsearch

The first well, 9-27-T36-R10W5, intersected four metres of gas pay in the Bluesky. The second, 1-29-T97-R10W5, intersected five metres of gas pay.

The wells have been cased and testing is underway. If successful, the wells will be tied into the gas sales lines.

Wells in this area typically achieve flow rates of about 1 million cfd of sweet gas, according to Drillsearch.

Planning is also underway to work-over a suspended well and to drill a new well at the 7-26A-T36-R10W5 (“7-26A”) location adjacent to a well drilled by a previous operator which flowed at 1 million cfd but was not completed due to mechanical failure down hole.
