Oil Search continues gas push

OIL Search is planning to drill the Flinders well in PPL 244, offshore Papua New Guinea, in 2011 after it completes analysis of 4720 square kilometres of 3D seismic recently shot in the Gulf of Papua.

The company secured operatorship of PPL 244 after signing a deal to swap a 60% stake in PPL 239 for Talisman Energy's 35% stake in the permit. This brought Oil Search's stake in PPL 244 to 80%. Drillsearch...
