VicPet set to test Western Margin well

VICTORIA Petroleum is set to drill the Snatcher-1 exploration well, which is testing the oil potential of a prospect adjacent to the Santos-operated Charo field in South Australia's Cooper Basin.

The well will be drilled by the Century Drilling Rig 3, currently being assembled on the well site in PEL 111, to a total depth of 1871m. The Snatcher prospect is situated on the Western Margin Oil Trend....
