Explorationists attending both events said the PESA Farmin Seminar was by far the better patronised event, with fewer than six opportunities presented at the Singapore event.

Organiser Wolfgang Fischer of Petro Ventures said the interest was that keen companies wanting to present had to be turned away due to the record number of speakers.

The whole range of exploration companies were represented from Woodside, Santos and BHP Billiton through to the minnows and unlisted overseas companies.

One of the more educational presenters was Matt Silverman of Sweatpea Corporation whose companies has acreage in one of Australia’s least known basins, the Beetaloo Basin in the central Northern Territory. Many in the audience had never heard of this lightly explored Australian Basin.
