Harriet partners spud Romulus

THE Harriet partners are keeping busy. While drilling continues on the Jane-1 sidetrack well, the joint venture has spudded the Romulus-1 wildcat in their Carnarvon Basin lease, Tl/6.

Romulus-1 is a deviated well, designed to test a small four-way dip closed mound within the Double Island sandstone.

The well is being drilled from the South Plato production platform. The target is roughly 1.8km west-northwest from the platform.

The well is expected to reach total depth by the end of the week and is the first of two prospects to be drilled from the South Plato Platform.

If successful, it will be immediately brought into production.

TL/6 joint venture participants are Apache Northwest Pty Ltd (operator) 68.5%, Kufpec Australia Pty Ltd 19.2771% and Tap (Harriet) Pty Ltd 12.2229%.
