Solid flows ensure the future of Derrilyn-1

Derrilyn-1 continues to provide positive results for the Stuart Petroleum/Santos Joint Venture with two drill stem tests (DST) flowing at a combined rate of 1923 barrels per day.

DST 1 in the McKinlay formation over the interval 1248 to 1256m produced oil to surface at 195 barrels per day. The recovery was a full string of 36.1 API oil with no water.

DST 2 in the Hutton formation over the interval 1481 to 1486m produced oil to surface at 1728 barrels per day. The recovery was a full string of 43.9 API oil, also with no water.

The well, located in PEL 113/PEL 114, 50km south of Moomba, will now be completed as a McKinlay and Hutton zone oil producer.

Interests in the PEL 113/114 Derrilyn Block Joint Venture are Santos (Operator) 65% and Stuart Petroleum 35%.
