Arrow spuds Boyne River-1

Arrow Energy will spud the Boyne River-1 well this afternoon to deep test the Nagoorin Graben near Gladstone (ATP 679P - Arrow 100%).

Boyne River-1 is located about 60km south of Gladstone in Queensland and is within 100 metres of a well drilled in 1982 that flowed gas at an estimated 500,000 cfd at 300 metres depth.

The primary targets in Boyne River-1 are the shallow gas sand and deeper interbedded stacked sands within the oil shales in the Nagoorin Graben.

Arrow is also continuing its coal bed methane appraisal program with the final pilot well in ATP 683P, Tipton West-4, finished drilling at a total depth of 331 metres and is currently being completed.

Kogan North-4 is currently at 270 metres and coring ahead within the Walloon coals to a projected total depth of 440 meters. The well, located 4.8 kilometres south of Kogan North CSG pilot, has encountered 13.6 metres of gassy coals to date.
