Mosaic prepares for third Waggamba well

This well will be situated approximately 1.4 kilometres west of Waggamba-2, which was successfully drilled in mid February, with the reservoir section of Waggamba-3 to be drilled under-balanced with nitrogen in April.

At the same time Waggamba-2 well will be deepened to clean out over 12 metres of cuttings-fill in the well bore.

Wireline work has confirmed that over 12 metres of fill covered the main reservoir section and was impeding testing of the main reservoir.

This has delayed testing of this interval and which is now planned for late April-early May

The section in Waggamba-2 from 2604 - 2613 metres is interpreted as gas and the section 2614 to 2625 metres is interpreted to be gas and oil. The gross gas-oil column is approximately 20 metres.
