Under the terms of the agreement, AMEC will provide initial support services to Chirag-1 offshore Production Platform.

It will also service five more offshore installations when they come on-line. The company will also include CAPEX modifications to the offshore operational facilities, along with management and implementation services.

In a statement AMEC said, “The contract, the value of which is confidential, further reinforces AMEC's position as a leading services provider in the region, where the company is already involved in a range of both onshore and offshore projects.”
