The well was drilled to a total depth of 2027m using Century Rig 3, targeting the Namur and Hutton Sandstones with the Murta Member and the Patchawarra Formation as secondary targets.
Beach and Magellan each have a 50% interest in PEL 95.
The rig is expected to be released later today and move to the Baystone-1 exploration well in PEL 90 (Candra Block) where Beach has a 25% interest with Stuart Petroleum (operator) holding the remaining 75%.
