Test 1 was conducted on the upper Qishn S2 Sandstone between 1,696 and 1,702 metres. Test 2 will check the Qishn S2 Sandstone between 1,702m and 1,709m. Test 3 will assess the Qishn S1 Sandstone between 1,670m and 1,676m.

Nabrajah-3 is the second appraisal well following the Nabrajah-1 discovery well drilled earlier this year. Following completion of Nabrajah-3 testing the well will be suspended as a future producer and the rig will move to the Nabrajah-4 location some 800 metres east of the Nabrajah-1 surface location.

Participants in Nabrajah-3 are Norwegian company DNO ASA 56.67% (operator), Oil Search (Yemen) Limited 28.33% and The Yemen Company 15% (carried).
