SANTOS has completed the Reg Sprigg West-1 well in PEL 90 Candra Block/PPL 194 in the Cooper Basi...

Located about 1.5 km west of Reg Sprigg-3, the well’s total depth is 2380.4 metres.

The Tinchoo 74-0 sand was perforated and flowed on clean up 9.7 million cubic feet of gas per day accompanied by condensate at approximately 500 barrels per day. The Tinchoo 73-0 sand will be the next pool to be perforated and tested.

Participants in the Reg Sprigg West Block Joint Venture are: Santos Group (operator) 52.0142%; Stuart Petroleum Limited 18.75%; Delhi Petroleum 12.8572%; Origin Energy Resources 7.902%; Beach Petroleum Limited 6.25%; and Novus Australia Resources 2.2266%.
