Tomahawk spuds fifth Snell Heirs well

Tomahawk Energy Ltd has announced the spudding of the fifth well in its initial drilling program in its Okfuskee, Oklahoma acreage. The well, Snell Heirs 3-19 is expected to reach TD of 4,000 feet within 10 days.

The announcement comes on the back of the fourth well, Snell Heirs 2-19, had reached its TD of 3,900 feet with “significant gas shows in the primary objective the Mississippian Caney Shale”. Gas shows were also detected in its secondary objective.

The other wells in the 5-well program were Snell Heirs 8-13, Snell-Heirs 6-13 and Snell-Heirs 7-13.
