Petsec is drilling from the Vermilion 258 G platform location 114km off the Louisiana coast. The water depth is 47 metres and the total depth is 2002m. The G-3 well is an acceleration well designed to bring the upper sand encountered in theG-2 well into production about two years earlier than would otherwise be possible.

Petsec Energy has a 100% working interest and 83.33% net revenue interest in the

Vermilion 258 G-3 well.
