Scomi lands Shell offshore contract

In a statement Scomi said, “Our wholly-owned unit Kota Minerals & Chemicals Sdn. Bhd. has been awarded a 40 million Ringgit (US$10.53 million) contract to supply oil related services.”

“The contract is for a period of one year and includes providing synthetic-based mud and services for all of Shell's deepwater and shallow water wells in offshore East Malaysia,” added the drilling fluids specialist who did not elaborate further.
