The well is currently shut-in and awaiting the installation of surface production equipment.

Installation of the equipment is expected to be completed in a fortnight’s time. In a statement SHG said, “After perforating and three hours of flow the well stabilised at 630 BOPD along with 1.5 MMscf/d of gas.”

The Sunnybank 6 partners, which is located in Block ATP 336P, comprises of operator Santos Ltd (85% stake) and SHG (15%).
