Amadeus moves on after P&A

After the disappointment of the Rash Barrett A #2 well P&A in the Red Creek Prospect in Oklahoma, Amadeus Energy has moved on to spud the Seay Land and Cattle Company No. 1 well, on the Red Creek Prospect, last Friday.

Amadeus increased its working interest in the remainder of the Seay field to 60.375% due to some of the partners having elected not to participate, while Trio Operating Inc will operate the field.

The Rash Barrett A #2 well reached TD of 2,421ft without any oil shows being present. The company said the well was dry because oil-bearing sands were not present due to the structure being faulted out. The result does not impact the reserves estimate for the Rash Barrett area of interest.
