The new Wireline Cable and Weak Point Tester is designed to monitor the quality of wireline cables, providing a quantitative measurement of the condition of the cable, including the ratings of its strength and all weak points.

By providing a means of assessing the condition of wireline cable before operations commence, engineers can avoid premature cable junking because they are secure in the knowledge that the cable is of the adequate strength and in proper condition.

The cable and weak point tester was created for use in conjunction with AnTech's hydraulic hand pump kit to monitor cable conditions, even in a field environment.
