Mosaic kicks off Downlands-2 well

Mosaic Oil and minor partner Santos have kicked off the Downlands-2 well in Queensland.

The well is located in PPL119 which is 60 kilometres south of Roma.

The well has a proposed total depth of 1,950 metres and is targeting the southern culmination of the Downlands East feature which Mosaic said is expected to hold gas, light oil and LPG.

The well is situated 1.4 kilometres south of the Downlands East No. 1 well.
