The incident, which slashed gas supplies to the state by about 30%, has also cut gas delivered to industry and minesites in the Goldfields by 20%.
In the southwest, large industries and commerce lost 20% of gas supplies while mid-sized businesses have seen a 25% drop in supplies.
The supply disruption is expected to have a major economic impact on the Western Australian and national economies, with major industrial users forced to find alternative fuel supplies.
Half of all major gas users in the state have stopped using natural gas, 26% have switched to diesel fuel and 28% are using alternative gas supplies.
On Monday, Apache Energy said it expects to resume partial production of 180 million cubic feet of natural gas per day through the East Spar Joint Venture processing facilities by August 15, before ramping up to 315MMcfd in December when repairs to the Harriet Joint Venture facilities are completed.
