Cue speeds ahead with Bass Basin seismic

CUE Energy has said its CUEBASS08 2D seismic survey over its permits in the Bass Basin is progressing ahead of schedule and is 33.25% complete.

The company is shooting 3660 line kilometres of full-fold seismic that will provide a 1km by 1 km grid over the central part of the basin.

This is aimed at maturing leads along the Poonboon-Yolla trend to drillable prospects and to provide data over leads in the Dondu Trough that have poor seismic coverage.

Participants in the T/37P and T/38P survey are operator Cue (50%) and Exoil (50%).
