ARRC (the Australian Resources Research Centre) is an initiative of CSIRO, Curtin University of Technology and the WA Government, developed in conjunction with the petroleum and mining industries.
The Centre was officially opened by the Hon Dr Geoff Gallop MLA, Premier of Western Australia, in November 2001, and focuses on strategic research for the resources sector.

The ARRC Discovery Tour meets in the ARRC foyer and leaves at: 9.30am, 10.00am, 2.00pm and 2.30pm. Places on the tour are limited and lasts approximately 45 minutes.
ARRC was purpose built to house CSIRO's Petroleum and Exploration and Mining Divisions, along with Curtin's Departments of Exploration Geophysics and Petroleum Engineering and State Centres of Excellence in Petroleum Research, Petroleum Geology and Exploration and Production Geophysics.
It has also created a new environment in which scientists can work together to exchange information and explore new ideas to ensure the ongoing sustainability of our resource industries, our environment and our way of life.
The concentration of capability at ARRC enhances collaboration with Cooperative Research Centres, universities, resource companies and suppliers to deliver world-class research solutions, services, technologies and highly trained people to the resources industries in Australia and around the world. Parking is available at ARRC which is located at Bentley Technology Park, directly across from Curtin University.
