Salomon is a geologist with over 20 years experience in both large and small exploration and production companies. He currently consults to the industry and most recently was the technical director for Nido Petroleum NL.
Following the Mobil takeover of Ampolex in the late 1990’s, he worked in the USA and headed up a team developing new projects in South Asia. This provided him with an extensive knowledge of the Asian region, as well as establishing many regional contacts.
The appointment takes effect on the 21st July.
