Reliance rejected from Mundra to Delhi pipeline

Reliance, in turn, has stated it did not agree to HPCL’s 25-year take-or-pay conditions. It was the only refiner to bid for taking capacity on the pipeline.

The proposed HPCL pipeline, stretching 1,008 km from Mundra to Delhi is expected to have a capacity of 5.8 million tonnes per annum, with 25% of that being leased out to other firms. Reliance had hoped to move 2.5 million tonnes of petrol and diesel per annum via the pipeline.
