Founder of Mermaid Marine Australia, James Carver, has decreased his relevant stake in the Fremantle-base company from 10,031,411 (11.09%) to 9,891,665 (10.94%).

Director of Sun Resources NL, Wolf Martinick, has decreased his stake in the company from 6,463,192 (6.78%) to 5,206,226 (5.46%) in the junior explorer.

Beach Petroleum chairman, Robert Kennedy, has increased his relevant interest in the company to 600,000 shares (3.31%).

FMR Corp decreased its relevant interest in Australian Oil & Gas Corporation Limited on 12 June from 4,629,025 ordinary shares (7.97%) to 3,851,027 ordinary shares (6.59%).

JB Were Group Holdings Pty Ltd, JBWere Ltd increased its relevant interest in Energy Developments Limited on 13 June from 8,200,724 ordinary shares (7.70%) to 9,290,181 ordinary shares (8.72%).

J P Morgan Chase & Co ceased to be a substantial shareholder in Energy Developments Limited on 14 June.

Credit Suisse First Boston Australia (Holdings) Ltd increased its relevant interest in Nautronix Limited on 12 June from 3,475,000 ordinary shares ( 5.12%) to 4,206,514 ordinary shares (6.20%).

AMP Ltd & its related corporate bodies decreased their relevant interest in Novus Petroleum Limited on 12 June 2002, from 19,544,452 ordinary shares (10.66%) to 16,916,809 ordinary shares (9.21%).

FMR Corp decreased its relevant interest in Novus Petroleum Limited on 12 June from 12,500,000 ordinary shares (6.81%) to 10,500,000 ordinary shares (5.72%).

HSBC Asset Management (Australia) Limited ceased to be a substantial shareholder in Tap Oil Limited on 18 June.
