Dialog Group BHD is planning to set up a joint venture with Helix RDS Ltd, Tekad Ekuiti Sdn Bhd and Matrix Minda Sdn Bhd in order to better service the oil and gas sector in Malaysia. This new company aims to provide petroleum field optimisation, management services and solutions to oil and gas companies.
Under the terms of an agreement reached between the four companies, Dialog and Helix would each have a 30% stake in the company. Tekad and Matrix would each have a 20% share.
This new venture is part of Dialog's plans to invest in technology and training in order to enhance the company's capabilities in this lucrative field.
