A 62-YEAR old man who died after he fell overboard at TAQA's Harding platform in the UK North Sea...

Man who died at North Sea platform named

The incident occurred during maintenance activity on the platform.

The man was recovered from the sea by a support vessel before being transferred to Gilbert Bain hospital in Shetland by Helicopter, where he later died.

All other 108 employees on board the platform were accounted for and safe.

The tragedy is being treated as a work-related death by Scottish police.
