Board changes as Novera prepares de-merger

Chairman Don Stammer said the changes would also prepare Novera Europe for listing on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange.

Ian Smith will retire as a non-executive director of Novera Energy while Shane Gannon will retire from the board of Novera Europe.

“Ian has worked to drive the Novera Group from a start-up business to one of the largest independent landfill gas power companies in the United Kingdom,” said Stammer.

Novera Europe chief financial officer Robert Wilde will join the board as finance director, completing the migration of management for the Novera Group from Australia to the UK.

“His recent roles have included acting head of projects for RWE Power AG and as the finance director for a subsidiary of Powergen, the UK’s largest electricity retailer,” Stammer said.
